Scorched Ice works exclusively in High Definition (HD) today; there is no longer a difference in cost between Standard Definition and HD at even the lowest budgetary levels. We strive to bring the absolute highest levels of production value on any budget level to our customers’ projects.

The ethos of Scorched Ice revolves around the belief that individual creative genius is a myth. True creative genius is born through collaboration and serendipity. As such, Scorched Ice is more than a media studio; we are a collective of talented creative professionals. As Producers, Directors, Editors, Animators, Multimedia Content Developers and Programmers, we are set to create and deliver any form of media.
Scorched Ice was founded in 2000 by Craig Van Horne and David Van Horne and completed our first fiscal year in 2001. We continued operating as a partnership until 2008. Today Scorched Ice Digital is a registered trade name of Scorched Media Corporation, a private Canadian Corporation.
