"Craig is not only a very close and dear friend of mine, but he is also someone for whom I have a tremendous amount of respect for from an industry standpoint. He is an invaluable resource, and a seemingly endless supply of information. One of many traits that I recognize and appreciate most about Craig is his relentless desire to enhance and constantly update and upgrade his education. He is also dedicated to ensuring that any knowledge that he gains and shares is both correct and undisputed.
Coupled with extreme foresight, forward thinking and future-proofing, and an ever present mind set to constantly improve workflow and efficiency, he is perfectly suited to the ever changing and evolving demands of our industry. He is also extremely familiar with the entire process, from pre-production, through production, and right into post-production – a level of understanding that few people can boast. An extensive understanding of the whole process, from start to finish is extremely rare, but is one that can remove many of the problems that occur so regularly during a production. Put simply, people are often not aware of how things are affected all the way down the line because of poor decisions made at early stages in the game.
Furthermore, with the emergence and adoption of High Definition now upon us, there is a critical shortage of people who possess the in-depth knowledge and skills that are required to learn, understand, and implement the enormous changes that such an extreme format change requires.
It is my opinion that there are few individuals in the entire industry in North America who possess as much complete information, as well as the resources and the facts to back up his opinions - and most of it is right off the top of his head! In my mind, that is one of the principal reasons, aside from costs, that the move to HD is as challenging and time consuming as it has been, and will continue to be. If more people sought to gain the foundation that Craig has taken upon himself, I feel that the transition through the most extensive and challenging format change to date would be much smoother.
Trust me when I say that, if you have ANY questions about HD, Craig is your guy. If the answer to your question isn't one that snaps off of his fingertips, he'll admit to you that he doesn't know, and won't rest until he's got the right answer for you. He is not a guy that will try to pretend to know something he doesn't. To me, that's a guy that is great to have on your team!"

"Thank you for the work your company did in bringing together all the rough film footage, interviews and the blooper reels, into a professional video that we will certainly use to promote our services. Your Professionalism is greatly appreciated given all the difficult circumstances in bringing my idea to fruition. I am pleased with our video and look forward to working with you again.
Please call on me for a future reference, as I would be happy to pass on my positive comments about your work and your company. Thanks again Craig, for everything."
Respectfully,

"Dear Craig:
I would like to thank you for your efforts in putting the recent technology session together. I found it to be very valuable and received good feedback from many in attendance.
I was particularly impressed with the quality and expertise of the presenters. It provided a very credible look at the state of digital camera technology and certainly made the case for the potential of digital technology as being technically solid while providing an ever improving creative tool.
As we have discussed, I believe it is essential that Alberta stay on the leading edge of these technological advances. I hope to be able to work with you again in the very near future to stage another event that will cover a broader range of digital technology from cameras through the post production process to the new distribution and delivery environments.
Thank you again for your initiative in putting together this event in such short order. Would you also extent thanks from the Alberta Film Commission to your colleagues who participated in the event.
Best Regards,
Dan Chugg
