Scorched Ice was the first company in Western Canada and only the second in Canada to introduce the Mini35 and Pro35 lens adapters to the film and video industry. The technology allowed film makers to use 35mm cinema lenses on video cameras and retain the optical characteristics including depth of field and angle of view traditionally found only in 35mm film production.
